I have two years of automotive/aerospace manufacturing experience and am looking for new opportunities. I recently applied to a Solution Engineer - Commercial Manufacturing, Automotive, Energy (MAE) role at Salesforce, and it sounds like a great fit. Is anyone willing to offer me a referral or advice on how to move forward in the hiring process? Salesforce

I can’t get past the 75k for 12 YOE bit.
I’d decline right off the bat. Any company that low balls you that hard has no interest in developing you and will cut you the moment it’s convenient.
The hell
Rising Star
That's laughable. I'd decline immediately
I would draft a rejection letter to the recruiter
I’m in PAS and that is very low. 100k minimum is what your friend should be looking for in this market
Keep in mind 12 YOE of non-consulting is not the same as 12 YOE of consulting.
Rising Star
75 is entry level Staff at EY. Entirely too low to offer to anyone who isn't accepting a first year title
12 YOE!? Was it all relevant experience?
Yes and no. She has about 9 yrs in int'l project management and 3 yrs in mobility/immigration. The role is mostly immigration strategy. But there's definitely alot of consulting and project manangemt in the role. She was surprised too and countered at 100k.
What level? Staff 2? Is that 12 yoe in OCM or as a cashier? This is a very very low ball offer if the former
Organizational Change Management?
People advisory services? I was in global mobility tax and made $80,000 as a senior 2 and that was at year 3. What pillar in pas they doing?
They need to start negotiating at $100,000
This in the US?
Yes
This sounds right. Your friend is probably getting hired for global mobility. It’s essential the tax arm of pas. Pay is not great. Does your friend live in a hcol city? That would be my avenue to upping it. If not, I’d take the 75k. Promo to manager may take a while depending on which office they are tagged to
It's an immigration role in their Managed Legal Services group. It's a remote role and she's based out of Houston, TX. Doesn't seem like grounds for upping on HCOL. What other avenues can she use?
I’m in people advisory services with 3 yoe and $85k. I would say either negotiate once or reject tbh
