ANY REVIEWS FOR HOMESTARS?
What will be the in-hand salary

USI Insurance brokerage and consulting - thoughts? A recruiter reached out to me via linked in and I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on this company. They seem to have decent reviews on Glassdoor but I was hoping to get more insight into workload and comp. Thanks in advance! USI

Stay positive. There is a lot of misinformation about the vaccine that can lead to negative thoughts.

Yes, unless your state has declared otherwise (I think only CA/NY)

Yes. PTO is for any short-term illness/commitment that keeps you away from work. From the common cold to concussions, to moving to a new house/apartment. It’s not strictly a vacation bucket.

SA1 I’m glad you have so positively contributed.
What would you tell someone who works a minimum wage job or someone underprivileged that isn’t happy with the money they are making?
If I get an IUD put in and have an adverse reaction (common), I take PTO until I am better. If I have a poor reaction to any vaccination (measles, mumps, rubella), I take PTO until I am better. If I undergo literally any medical procedure and don't feel good......I take PTO. How is this any different? (And yes- the vaccines I listed above are mandatory to attend most schools).

Schools…
Not to work at a job.
They are forcing the vaccination - they should take responsibility any side-effects by providing necessary time off (if needed).
Isn’t it sick days rather than pto ?
Rising Star
We give PTO to cover both, depending on level 20-29 days I believe. OP only gets 1 hour paid for the vaccine. Other 15 hours are PTO.
I thought we had a charge code for the vaccine including if you have to take time off for side effects. Or do they limit the # of hours? Check the FAQ documents, is my suggestion!
Thanks … HR said you have to take PTO. Have a lot of family functions throughout the next few months that will require PTO so hopefully not an issue.
