How much yearly hike can one expect at Société Générale ?
"Depends on performance" seems to be a very vague answer.
Can someone please elaborate on a better answer.
Also, Can someone shed some light on promotions?
Is there any policy, like you have to work for X years to be eligible for promotion etc.
Thanks in advance.

@2, a little bump. @D1, there wasn't a recruiter involved.
Makes sense. I really want to move abroad but it seems the only way to really do that is to get someone to ask you....Maybe one day for me. Congratulations! Do you mind sharing what practice/industry you are in?
I'll have to take a look, but if you had to say best spot for someone single, late 20s, would say that's Bondi?
How did they ask you? Had you previously expressed interest in Australia specifically?
Did they change your salary?
Any recruiters names you can share

I second Manly Beach. Bondi Beach is good too.
How did you you get the position there? Did leadership ask you to transfer?
@A-3, that's correct.
OP I'm from Sydney. It's not cheap - living in Manly is a beautiful commute each day. Lots of expats down in Bondi area, beautiful too. Ask any specific questions I can help - too broad
@A-3, I got lucky to be asked. I am within Operations.
@BCG1, that's great info thank you! I was looking at Surry Hills/Darlinghurst. Don't know too much though. Do you think closer to Bondi is better? Good public transportation either way?
Transportation south of the city is fine, mostly buses (maybe train depending where you are). Surry Hills/Darlinghurst are good spots - won't really go wrong.
Use gumtree.com.au to help find place to stay or other that's you need :) it's the craigslist of Aus (without the creepers)
Do you think $500-$550AUD/week for a furnished place is possible in those areas?
