Additional questions to a previous post I had. Got an offer from Deloitte to join as an Ariba Consultant (not SC) in the enterprise performance group. 1. Are my personal 401k contributions vested immediately 2. How much PTO can I expect at this level? 3. How much can I expect to pay per month roughly for an HSA plan?

Like SA1 said, contributions are your money going in, so it’s always vested. The pension plan vests after 3 years of service and the 401k match vests after 4 years of service.

like

Personal contributions are always vested immediately, it’s the match you may lose.

like

1. Yes immediately @1.5% annual match
2. You can expect to accrue prob 7 hours of PTO every 2 weeks
3. You can do somewhere around $3k contributions annually (not sure of exact number) but mine comes out to about $119 per period for HSA contribution with about $39 per period for high deductible plan (to be eligible for HSA). Deloitte contributes something like $500 on top of your contributions to HSA annually as well.

like

1. Your contribution immediately vested. 3 years for employers match.
2. Check your offer letter…. They are different Based on the career model and your experience

Just curious what comp did they offer? Interviewing for a similar role rn

Did you give them a salary range around that number or is that what they offered off the bat?

Paralegals: My firm is looking for a paralegal, and I see the job posting advertising the salary as $65-$75k, with benefits. Is this a good salary for a paralegal (Greater LA area)? Hey guys, so I have competing offers. One at Bank of America for 124, and one at Allspring for 110.

Does anybody work at Allspring? They did not provide any information regarding benefits, 401k match, or any annual bonus structure. I was told, verbally, that the Bank of America bonus is something like 15 to 20%, but nothing in writing.

Just wondering if anyone has any knowledge about compensation structure at Allspring, or any opinions on the culture there. I would be in Charlotte.

SO and I are debating contributing to 401k this year since the rate of return is around -11% on our portfolios this year. I believe it would be better off saving the cash in my account.

I'm thinking of contributing again when/if the market picks up next year. Thoughts?

What's the best form of compensation to ask for and why?

My employers' CEO just announced that they just received $7 million from investors. He wants to use that money to offer incentives to employees that hussle and drive more revenue for the company. We're not sure what those incentives look like yet, but here are some post-announcement rumors from my co-workers:

Cash bonuses, raises, profit-sharing, company equity, 401k match, etc.

Hello Fishes,

I have 2 offers in hand currently -
1. CGI - 25LPA +1L JB
2. Neev systems - 23LPA (5%VP)

Neev systems is ready to negotiate it with CGI. And both companies have their own benefits.

Neev's hike is good compared to CGI(almost double) & CGI have some additional perks like cab facility, Creche allowance, mobile, internet bills reimbursements and additional 5% shares.

Both might have similar WLB (12-9pm).

My DOJ is tomorrow, unable to decide between them. Pls help me!!

Deciding on a career path

I feel like my brain works like a consultant, and I would enjoy consulting, but I also looove all things finance & investing. While I don’t necessarily have extensive experience in the field (most of what I know is self taught, my major is accounting), I want to get involved in it somehow and learn more.

I currently work in audit, I’m not sure what exit opportunities are an option for me for the investing/finance industry. Feel like chances are are slim. Any advice?

30th birthday present watch accessory ideas.

A lot of knowledge on here so asking for some help. It’s my partner’s birthday and I’ve no idea what to buy him. He’s a watch fanatic - Pateks (sports and dress), Audemars (sports and dress), Rolex (sports), Omega (sports).

I’m obviously not buying him a watch for his birthday (in his dreams!) but any idea for some good accessories? He’s already got a PP watch winder, and has bought multiple nice straps for the dress watches. I’m completely lost.
