Advice on how to pivot into higher paid industries for accounting roles with no PA experience? I have 7 years exp working as a staff accountant. 3 of those years were for a non-profit and the rest were managing multiple clients with multi-million dollar portfolios. Clients ranged from commercial malls to senior living communities. I’ve provided services on the full close cycle, tax filings, audit support & liaisons, cash flow mgmt, distributions, etc. I have a BBA in accounting. No CPA. TIA!

I work as a Solution Specialist (sales rep) at an Authorizer Verizon retailer. Phone/wireless sales is not something I want to do forever. I will be joining MasterCard in the next two weeks, and my BGV application is still pending.
Is there any idea how long it will take to complete BGV, and will there be any consequences if BGV is not completed before joining date?

Starting to feel I don’t like litigation. Third year. I’m not excited about winning an argument or destroying the other party’s arguments. But the current market doesn’t seem to favor a transition.

What level and service line were you at the big 4, and what percent salary increase did you get once you left? I’m a S1>S2, and the offers I’m seeing are around 10%-15% higher, which feels a little low. But maybe I’m being unrealistic.

If you make it to senior manager at big four can you leave and become partner or director at mid size firm? Is this hard to do? I know there is a lot of politics at big four and have no interest staying in a senior manager role for 6-8 years and risk a chance of still not becoming partner. Also I got a long way to go before senior manager fyi.

Big4 has clear trajectory and interesting work.

F100 has 14% bonus, perm remote, and immediate vesting 401k over 7%.
