After nine months, I'm still not used to working as a salaried employee. Ten years of hourly work and simply making sacrifices for my employer have really trained me to be a work machine. Now, I'm able to take a day off for a needed dental procedure, but I can't stop the anxiety from bubbling up. I know it's silly, but somehow it's been ingrained in me that a good work ethic means always being at work when scheduled unless I'm literally contagious. Help.

My husband has dermatomyositis, and his doctor put off treatment so that we could do some collection and go through IVF. I felt like my dr was blowing off our timeline, but I persisted. I worked with CVS Caremark directly and got approval in 2 days (not the expected 3 weeks). Moral of the story: ADVOCATE FOR YOURSELF!

Well, I was the one who broke it off. I couldn’t get him to love me the way I needed or even respect me enough. It’s been 6 weeks of not seeing each other. We messaged this week. He doesn’t get it…. I work in a midsize firm and we have the basic subscription to westlaw, which doesn’t include the ability to see filed briefs, motions, etc without incurring additional costs. I’m wondering if there is a service in the NJ/PA area that gives you access to previously filed motions and briefs? So if I’m drafting a summary judgment I could search the service and find a similar one. If this doesn’t exist.. I think I found the next million dollar idea lol
