Which one should I join?

Accenture is paying me 10 LPA fixed and I am afraid that I might get fired in the near future due to the high salary.

EY GDS is paying me 7 LPA fixed.

I am so grateful today. I was laid off a few years ago and was trying to get into I-banking. I was on an h-1 visa. The market was slow, and PwC hired me instead. In consulting, I have had rapid growth and c-suite interaction. I have a Green Card now. Sometimes things work out for the best.

A recruiter for a company that I was excited to work for has ghosted on me (it’s been a week since they have given me updates). I’ve been told that things are delayed bc several key folks are on vacation atm.

How should I approach this situation? Several other companies I’m interviewing with is reaching final rounds, but tbh I’m not as interested in those roles. Plus I’m getting antsy being unemployed for several weeks since I was laid off.

Besides going client side, what roles/industries that are an easy transition for account? Not sure I’m cut out for the consistent turnover and layoffs I’ve been seeing in the ad agency model

Is it a high one as compared to the position. There are future chances of layoffs esp in cts?

My book shows better work and more awards then anyone at my agency. Experience is more varied and diverse than my boss. I am the only woman CD. Was given the least exciting clients. Junior most creative to work on projects. Still managed to make creative work and win some shiny things. Got burnt out after 5 years. Told them so. Got laid off. Have seen this happen to other female CD too in the past. Maybe it’s me. Maybe it’s them. But seriously reconsidering advertising.

I keep reading all these posts about firms laying off a ton of people. Can someone explain what happens after one gets laid off? Like do they just fire you and that's it? What happens to the pay? Etc.

Every time someone on my team goes on vacation, the same person on the client side tries to start a fire drill on a work stream the person on vacation owns. I have a good team who posts material, statuses, and transitions out to vacation so it hasn’t been an issue. It’s just annoying -_-

2nd year C, opportunity to make ~$75k more all in than what I make now at a no name company / very little brand equity , but in a pure corporate strategy role with team from very prestigious backgrounds ( banking, PE, top b schools). 9-6:30pm hours on average. Thoughts ?
