I’m interviewing for final round of the entry level area manager position at Amazon. I’m working on multiple stories related to the leadership principles. Can anyone provide me some tips regarding the role?
There are 16 leadership principle and I’m thinking of creating some stories around each but the thing that concerns me is what if the questions they ask are related to the same principle and I might have already used up my stories. Something like that. Can anyone please help? Amazon

Thoughts?
Wanted to highlight Prudential Financial’s hiring practices. They rescinded my offer once I attempted to negotiate the salary. The official reason given was that I didn’t “sound excited enough”.
They then admittedly gave the offer to someone who was less qualified. There were other red flags throughout the job offer process that the HR team should overall be ashamed of.

They say that. I feel like it rarely is a true barrier.
Client side likes MBAs
I hate this. 8+ experience and bypassed for client jobs because I didn’t shell out $$$ to sit in a classroom
it’s a client side thing. not just Amazon.
But places like Amazon can do whatever they want because they are Amazon.
Yes, VCU gets you a masters
@mccann Were you told specifically that you were passed over because you don’t have an MA?
I have never heard of needing a masters. That’s ridiculous and all of my professors advised against it. If your book is good, no one should care if/where/how long you went to school
Amazon has a strange interview process
Thanks for the insight on client side. AcD1: I figured, but that means someone who comes out with a Master’s now gets the upper hand.
Maybe I’ll reconsider VCU after all...they give Master’s degrees with their programs don’t they?
I've been doing this 20 years and i have a BA and never regretted not getting my mba. I ththattgat at a certain level and with experience under your belt, your degree shouldn't be a factor any longer. Ithink that's the last thing hr looks at.
Do they specifically want an MBA? And if not, what kind of MA?
