Hello fishes,
I have recently joined Accenture and have experience in working with DSP/Syniti ADM data migration tool for the past 3.5 years. Now I am thinking if I can continue working on the same tool or if I can move to SAP BODS (not yet assigned to any proj and didn't receive any training on bods yet)
Which ETL tool is better in terms of growth, pay, demand and scope? Pls pour in your suggestions. TIA

2 weeks are you serious?
Looking for YEARS.
Hear you that it’s challenging to juggle work and a search, but 2 weeks isn’t exactly a long search. I’m 4/6 months into a search (being extremely selective and trying to make a non-linear change)
I've been looking for 8 months, if that gives you any perspective...
In fairness to OP - if you’re a staff looking to GTFO ASAP and are aggressively using recruiters there shouldn’t be any reason a search takes much more than a month. The more senior you are, there are fewer desirable jobs open out there and you’re naturally more inclined to be selective as it feels like a really pivotal point in your early 30s for setting up the rest of your career for success.
I looked on and off for 1 year. After my first year with EY I knew I didn’t want to be around much longer, but I was patient and ended up with a perfect offer for my career goals.
I am a staff 2 going to senior. I started looking this Jan with an attitude that I need to get out ASAP because of my anxiety and fear of non-stop draining audits which has booked me till end of 2019 now 😂. It’s been 5 months now. From anxiously applying to get out, to today’s selectively applying knowing that I will keep doing this job at my 70% effort while taking all the trainings I want using firm resources, it’s been quit a mental journey.
Also from the interviews I kinda learned more about what I like and what I don’t, which is more objective to look at jobs/career.
2 weeks? Really? My advice is settle in, some places won't get back to you for a month even when they do want an interview.
Well I guess I’m going about this wrong. I’ll be more selective so I’ll feel less drained since this might take a few months. I guess I have so many friends that easily slid into entry level industry that I had warped expectations
OP, I wish you all the best. But some perspective: if you have a job AND you’re looking, you’re in control. I was unemployed for THREE YEARS. It was hard. Demoralizing. Resume after resume submitted. Interview after interview. If you’re looking for the right job for you, concentrate on the quality of the jobs you’re applying for. Getting the right job for you will take time. If you think it’s going to take two weeks, you’ll be having this conversation again inside of a year. Good luck! You deserve a job you love
I think the OP's issue is more that they have scheduled to much at once. Just figure out what you want and be more selective.
To interview on top of my intense work schedule
2 weeks? Be patient
@sm2 How have you been looking for years...?
Thank you everyone for taking the time to respond to my post. All of your insight is very helpful!
PwC1- targeting a city that I’m not in, as in my location industry is very weak. And the economy has been 💩 for a long time until a couple years ago.
@sm1 that sounds horrible

Just know it takes a year to find something
