Not even a thing yet, but IMO privacy lawyers are one of the best positioned specialties to get in at ground level here. Tons of new laws on AI, and lots of complex privacy questions yet to be answered. I absolutely think AI counseling will be valuable/necessary experience from here forward

Not a thing. AI is just a bunch of privacy and product stuff right now (consumer protection and regulated industry rules). There are a handful of AI laws but they are mostly just more specific rules about consumer protection.
It isn’t really a thing, but I have seen a lot of privacy lawyers trying to make it one.
Every privacy lawyer I follow is also getting asked to run AI
I've been thinking about that a lot, joking with friends that the big winners in all the AI hype will be generations of lawyers who make a fortune off it. There are already active cases about copyright and right of celebrity issues (coincidentally, Taylor Swift even mentioned a ghastly AI violation in her endorsement posting this past week). AI is simply glorified chatbots at this point.
