For those of you who left big law for an in-house role, what was the transition like out of your law firm? Standard two week notice or more immediate? I'm just trying to gauge timelines so if I get the call in hoping for on an in-house position, I can move quickly, but not leave anyone in a jam

Any advice on non-compete contracts?
New job contract says that I can’t work for any of their clients for a long period of time after the job ends. But their clients could span a huge list of common brands, which could mean I can’t work for any other agency later? Any way to get them to take that out?

I've been interviewing for a role since May 4th. I've had 8 interviews: virtual on-site, team members, a case study presentation panel interview, a surprise chat w/the VP of CS. 2.5 months in the process... Called the recruiter today asking for final decisions, told we've hired a lot in the last qrtr, trying to work through finance and reorgs. I'm super upset that they've wasted so much of my time to keep me warm in limbo with no regard to the amount of time I resources wasted
