In HR call asked for 20 LPA, should have gone

for bigger number than this or this ctc is ok.

Also does Amdoc offer wfh?, as HR says till december only wfh is there, after that office will begin.

I wasn't available at that time so I mailed the HR for a different slot. They again scheduled it for a later date without checking the time with me.

What do you think about 100 e-mails, 25 conversations on the phone (not calls, conversation), 30 connection on LinkedIn, 30 messages on LinkedIn? I got an offer from infosys for 5.5lpa+75k bonus, & now I have another offer of 7.5lpa+80k from globallogic. I prefer to join infosys as it is in my home town.
But the catch here is I accepted the offer from infosys, can i talk to HR again to revise my offer as I am expecting at least 6.5lpa. I am afraid if they revoke my current offer also. Yoe:1.5y / cctc:3.85lpa

I’m so grumpy about new campus hires. Sometimes I’m judgmental (your hobby is “working on your golf swing,” really?). Sometimes I’m just exhausted by the worried earnestness. How is the US Tax Consultant role at PwC different from Biglaw tax work?

For anyone who practices tax lit in the US Tax Court, what’s your experience with the independent office of appeals? They don’t seem quite that “independent” to me and so far, I’ve only had one appeals officer who seemed knowledgeable and nice. It’s been a real headache. Interested to hear other people’s experience.

Can anyone advise - if I did not file taxes for 2019 and 2020 is there a way I can file without receiving a penalty? I just didn’t file them no great reason. Nothing complicated and I probably owe a few hundred each year in fed taxes. Nothing crazy.

When the IRS (e.g., a RO/AO/Examiner) calls or writes a letter… How do you verify that it’s really the IRS and not a scam? I’m new to tax law and I’m worried that I’m going to respond to/answer a scam and give away client info (or my own tax preparer info). I don’t think my worry is unfounded due to the tremendous amount of tax/IRS scam out there but it would be nice to hear from some of y’all so that I’m not so worried about it…
