I’ve been a family caregiver for four years, and now look to return to the workforce. I realize that this will be a bit difficult, especially during these economic conditions, plus other factors, such as being an older employee, etc. I updated my account with a few job sites, adding on the fact that I took time off to care for a family member. Anyone familiar with Covid Supplemental Paid Sick Leave in CA? Does having planned time off nullify a full time employee’s ability to use the C19 sick leave if they become sick just prior to the planned time off? (I’ve only been able to find references to eligibility being based off of hours work preceding C19 sick leave - nothing about planned time off)
