How does your firm measure utilization? I work for a small boutique that defines it as utilization = number of billable hours/2,080 and full bonus payout occurs at 80% plus.

I received an offer (28 Lakhs + 3.9 Lakhs incentive) from Novartis for Sr Project Manager yesterday. This was just 13.6% more than my current earnings as Project Manager. I've given the reasons why I deserve at least 30% to HR. In response to that, HR has sent 2nd offer i.e. 29 Lakhs + 4 Lakhs incentive + 50k sign-on bonus. The 2nd offer is just 18.2% higher than my current earnings. Need your suggestion, if I could still negotiate with HR to finalize deal by asking for 25% hike?

What is salary/hourly rate for LMSW in a hospital?

I’m currently in a lease admin type role, in commercial real estate. I make a base salary of $50.5K with about $9k in bonuses. I’ve continuously received 7-10% raises over the last 3 years. I anticipate getting a promotion this year and would like to get closer to $60k for my base salary. I’m the only person in my role at the company and have been a key person in developing our team as we look to expand. Is this unreasonable? Is there a normal increase given with promotions? How hands-on are you in scrum meetings?

Ever since I was a student I’ve always found the accounting jokes mildly humorous, and the weird “selling” personas kind of off-putting.

Would you hang out with management at your firm if you met them as a stranger? I always find it weird when you see that person who kisses partner butt, just to get a seat at an awkward dinner where the partner interrogates you about work stuff.

There are interesting people at work, but I feel like they are in the minority.

Is it just me or do people drive like maniacs in the Denver metro? Constant tailgating no matter what the speed limit or if there’s traffic or construction. I’m appalled by how dangerous some people here drive. Relax, getting there a few seconds faster isn’t worth anyone’s life. Aren’t y’all supposed to be too high to be driving like this anyway?

Curious what’s a fair salary in MA? Its base is 15L, and I'll be getting 124800 in-hand.

I have 3.5 yoe in typescript/react/NEXTjs fullstack. Out of which only 10 months are on a full time role, rest of time was freelancing.
I am also an open source contributor for some NEXTjs related tooling.
