Any recommendations for resources to improve account management skills/processes? I was thrown into account management for a new growing agency. I’m still the only one and I have a massive client list I’m handling. I never have been trained on anything customer service I feel like some of my processes could be refined and I don’t know what the PMs should be doing, and what’s on me. I work in the web design department and I’m clogged with 75 clients because I can’t get them moved through.

There are a number of reputable account management training resources online that yield a high return on investment. Read online reviews from past participants.

If you're using a CRM tool, they should be able to list additional resources that you can use. It may also help to have a chat with your coworkers on the typical process that they follow and iterate based on what will work for you. There are also plenty of free courses (Udemy, Coursera, edX, etc.) and resources online that you can check out.

I’m really having a hard time choosing any one thing. If anyone has any recommendations or anything that really helped them. That would be great. I’ve really just had zero training and it’s making my job difficult =)

Advice… get out of account management 😳

Does anyone have any advice on how to deal with discrimination as an Asian in the workplace? In my company it seems like it’s a white boys club where and they just promote white ppl because they’re white. And then they have a lower bar for promotions for minorities (traditional minorities likes Hispanics and African Americans). Meanwhile they make Asians do all the work. I am not generalizing that this is how it is everywhere but it definitely is that way in my workplace. Any advice?
