Often feel betrayed by my Ps when they question my work in front of the client, only to be proven otherwise. Happened many times and I don’t know how to change this - my integrity and work quality is questioned publicly and after much due diligence it gets proven that I did really good. What do I do?

Anyone feel as if it’s hard to stay with a company when you’re the only one of color? (&young) I’ve work for 3 companies in past 5 years and have yet to make meaningful colleague relationships. I just do not relate to the conversation and just find it hard to picture myself being a long-term employee. I’ve had better relationships when working at wal-mart when I was in college. Can I still work as a telemarketer even though I have a noticeable accent? People don't say they can't understand me but they seem relieved when they get to talk to somebody else. My boss acts like I'm not very good at the job and I think it's because some customers think I am an "outsider," for lack of a better term. I just want to fit in.

Anybody have experience with adjournment requests in the 1st Dept App Division? We have a respondent’s brief due a week from Wednesday. This past we submitted an application for adjournment. I love a well behaved dog.

I wish Ad salaries were like NBA salaries. Each year you get a ridiculous raise no matter how shitty you perform. If you are good you get bird rights and no layoff clauses. And retire at 35.

I just received an offer from BNY Mellon, and as per their terms and conditions mentions BNY can solely decide to reject or not accept our resignation letter, even though the notice says 60 days? Is it even legally allowed?

Can we never leave them after handing over the resignation letter until they agree as well?

Negative thoughts on repeat is like hitting the “Like” button on negativity:

“This is all I know.”

Negative self talk will produce more negative self talk.

You can retrain your brain to ignore negative thoughts and “Like” positive thoughts that help you. When you do, possibilities and productivity increase.

It takes time to change thought patterns.
