Any thoughts on playing hardball for early promotion? Senior 2 but have gotten 5s three years straight

Hey HR friends, I am up for promotion and I want to make sure I am doing my homework before I go into my conversation with my manager. For those of you in the SF Bay Area in tech, what are you seeing as a midpoint salary for L4 People Operations Manager / HR Manager roles?

I received an email today from recruiter asking for a phone interview which I’m so happy to hear from but I applied about a month ago. I moved on and applied internally for a different role as a transfer. This new role is a promotion and my start date is next week. I immediately responded back to the recruiter and agreed to the phone interview for tomorrow 5/4…. Do I mention any of the above to them? Do I tell them I just accepted a new role and different position? Please advise

I recently got a promotion in my company to work as a Junior CSR in Commercial Lines but I also got a job offer elsewhere to work in the entertainment insurance industry as an Associate. I got the RIBO license in January. The job offer pays more than my promotion but once I told my manager I had this offer she said they are willing to match that offer, however I wouldn’t see an increase in salary for a while. I don’t know what to do because both jobs sound really interesting. Any advice?

I joined EY GDS on august 2nd 2021 as advanced analyst for US taxation. I don’t have enough hours but I have over all 3 years of experience (2.7 Deloitte and Ey - August 2021 till now) in US tax and very good feedback untill now. Is there a possibility to get senior promotion this year? If over all hours is the only main criteria then I would not get this year?
