What is LPA location premium allowance mentioned in offer letter?? Is it variable part which we get end of year? Or will it be part of monthly salary?

I might end up with an offer of 7 lpa with British council for sAp security. Currently I am with ibm at 4.89 lpa, I want to stay at IBM but not at this pay. Can i drop resignation and then expect my manager to retain me by increasing the pay? P.S I am only 4 months old in ibm, joining month October 2021

Will an offer made in paper by one organization get revoked if a counter offer from other organisation is submitted to negotiate a better salary?
Also need an advice on should i submit the counter offer even if i prefer the first organisation only to improve the salary which is less as offered now?

I currently have an offer from both IBM and TCS for database developer role. IBM's package is a slightly less than what TCS has offered. While my plan is to join TCS but i have no clue about what project/account i will be onboarded to. I am very much comfortable in my current organization and they have agreed to match the IBM offer. 1YOE medical device NPI Lead looking for salary perspective

Mechanical engineering grad, joined a medical device startup that I had done co-ops at. 8mo into full-time, pivoted from engineering into more of an operations role doing new product introduction (NPI), now with 3 direct reports.

The combination of startup+medical device+NPI seems very unique and I'm struggling to find salary comparables. Currently making 75k but it feels very low given my new responsibility and impact. Any advice?

The community is super toxic and I'm looking for a place I can casually ask questions that might seem dumb without being hrangued for not providing an essay proof of the research I've already done.
