I wanted to, but waking up at 5 am isn’t going to happen, so I go to the gym around 5:30 pm. It’s usually packed but it’s worth the extra 2 hours of sleep.
Just try waking up at 5AM for 1 week then from next week without any reminder/alarm you will wake up.
I have found that is easier to skip your workout if you go in the afternoon, At 6 am there is no distraction at 6 pm life can get in the way easily, so it depends if is a hobby or if is something you want to do every day
Yeah this is true. I used to try to go after work… but I find every excuse not too!
Lifting in the morning before work 4 days/wk, run in the afternoon after work 3 days/wk 😃 Keep pushin’ bud!
Its an afterwork thing for me! But keep it up
After work for me (Not a morning person). Cardio days I do in my apartment mini gym after work and weightlifting days I do Fri,Sat,Sun. I been consistent so it works for me.
I tend to ride a stationary training bike in the morning at least 6 days a week and lift after I get out
I did not have time this morning but I got a workout in the afternoon!
I prefer the 5am wake up and workout. Sets the pace for my day. Gets the blood pumping.
I used to get up every day and hit the gym by 5:30, work out for an hour, shower and get ready for work there. It was such a great routine, but for some reason I just cannot get back into it. I guess life just got in the way.
In college, I would have a similar routine except go to class after.. but now that I’m working it’s tougher for whatever reason
Im starting work at 6.30 LoL. Don't have time. And don't need it.
I tried waking up at 5am and attempting this but I’m just not that much of a morning person. Instead I try and workout after work about 4 days a week
I workout everyday before work. Keeps me sharp and feeling fresh. Combine that with a good diet and sleep habits and you have a cocktail for great energy and longevity!
I used to get a workout in the morning, but it was tough to commit to it. I would often hit the snooze button and then I would feel guilty all day. But then I realized that I was only hurting myself by not working out. So I decided to make a change. I set a goal, found a workout buddy, and made it easy for myself. Now I work out in the morning every day and I feel great!
Depends on the time of year. Currently with the 100 degree plus heat I’ll do yoga at a studio early morning but no running
I do this 6 days a week, for 5KM, and 10 in Fridays. Morning runs clears my head and heart. And I live in Qatar. Where sun rises at 5 theses days and FYI I am almost 60😉

I am looking forward to hear from you. If you are young engineer and have any questions, specially on topics related to the power systems, please let me know.
I wake up for crossfit every day at 4:30 to make it at 5am. I work from 7:30 to 5:30. Commitment is not the issue, the issue is your dedication to your fitness journey. I would say having accountability and someone to push you is a good way to start after a month or two it'll be normal.
Used to wake up at 0430 for morning PT, old military habit.
Now I work in the private sector, wake up at 0600 and workout in my lunch time.
I hate hate hate working out in the afternoon and evening so I go in early. embrace the energy of the dead, early morning streets. go in earlier than 6, gyms open at 5. be a beast.
I’ve started to wake up 6am to exercise 30 mins at home a few days a week. Makes me feel so much better🤩
