Hello ZSers,
I have been shortlisted for AC role and my HR discussion is scheduled next week.
1. Need some insights on the maximum and minimum ctc (fixed and variable) that can be offered for 3 yoe (all relevant) . My current ctc is 7.2 (6.5 fixed) . Tech stack - Big data and AWS developer.
2. Is there any joining bonus. If yes , what should be the ask.
Any inputs will be very helpful for me to go with my expectations to the HR. Thanks!

While I would say this is not appropriate, it is an interesting way to gain trust with her very fast haha….
Yea, I was thinking the same thing. It also seems like you might get some insights/knowledge that you wouldn't get otherwise.
Maybe another way to look at this is what can you gain or learn from this? With that approach you might get something out of it that few other people have access to.
I guess I wouldn't be surprised at a smaller firm, at a larger firm you would expect they get it on their phone.
Though I did have one partner who had trouble with technology call me and ask me to log into is computer while he was on vacation to delete some old emails since his inbox was full, but this was a guy who spent 90% of his career at a 20 person firm.
For a short period of time this might make sense, but long term it is odd.
One added though here. If someone got sick or injured and left them in a bind on short notice this could make sense while they look for a replacement.
I would only do this if she let me bill the time to one of her clients. Otherwise you’re just being screwed.
