Anyone considering pivoting out to something completely different or know someone who has?

I started out as a graphic designer. Worked for about 4yrs in different roles. Then i started a digital design role for 2 yrs and then made my transition into ux. i have been in a ux role for 5 years. But i want to steer my career towards something more creative. Like in 5-10 years I wouldn’t want to be a specialist or a ux director. I d like to be an art director or creative director. I love branding & marketing but also product. Would love something that allows me to do both?

Would going to accounting advisory or finance in industry or Ops at a big bank be a better option for career?

Any recommendations for good recruiting agencies in the Carolinas? Trying to find someone to help me navigate my potential lateral career options based on my experience and interests since I’ve been in litigation almost two years and it’s not for me and I will be relocating there.

A question for VCs: I’m currently a VC analyst. I want to eventually come back to the VC industry and perhaps become a partner (if possible). However, there’s an opportunity to work at an Endowment Fund (Harvard/Yale/Stanford level). Would you recommend me to spend the next 3-4 years doing something that’s not directly VC related? Is it worth it to go back to school for a better track to a FAANG company? The division I’m currently in seems like there are no good opportunities, and I have the funds available to finish my undergraduate full time (Canada). I applied to Amazon before for a highly senior position and made it to final interview so I think I would have a better chance for a new grad type role.

Just switched to a gud org with gud perk,pay,project work but My boss is the epitome of a**h*** reasons-
Onboarded me on a huge project (12 phase proj) with no KT, only gave docs to read from.
He was handling this proj till phase 4 but has completely withdrawn out without proper transition.
I cannot make decisions and my decisions are overridden by him.
I have 2 yrs experience and it's now my onus to negotiate with PPL in VP,EVP position and also handle testing & dev team.

Hello, in my previous organisation I worked in development domain (Oracle IAM Tool and Java)and my post was software Engineer, i joined Wipro as project Engineer in April 2022 and was assigned non technical project as an analyst.

I fought my way hard to get released from the project. However my designation is changed as Analyst. Should I ask for change in designation as I know that analyst is non-technical profile? Would my designation impact my future role as well?

Big4 has clear trajectory and interesting work.

F100 has 14% bonus, perm remote, and immediate vesting 401k over 7%.
