As a designer, I found this funny.

Hi All, My Junior has decided to put paper, as she wanted to pursue Cdac course from Sept-22. She just informed that she signed a bond of 2 years and currently she has completed 1.7 years in HCL. What should she do now? Results is on 10-aug and she decided to put paper on that day itself (Earlier she told the same to Sr. manager) Kindly suggest if any action would be taken by HCL OR No experience letter would be shared with her. Yes. This industry constantly makes you feel like you're not enough. I'd also look into articles on anxious overachiever. New manager year was my hardest so far (I'm an experienced manager).
Exactly
Believe it or not, it used to be even worse. However, I am incredibly disappointed that in 2025, public accounting doesn’t care that its staff feels this way. It demonstrates a complete lack of good leadership. It is crucial to provide positive feedback to subordinates. Unfortunately, many professions engage in the same behavior. So, as you all progress in your careers, remember this and always encourage the people who work for you. Recognize that you are responsible for making them better. It’s amazing what words of encouragement can accomplish.
Every unscheduled Teams call feels like a possible “you’re fired” call. Imposter syndrome is very real.
Yup
I think that’s normal for your first year in anything where you’re being challenged to perform at a higher level than you were before. I’ve found it takes about 3 years til you really hit your stride but the first year is the hardest.
First year manager is notoriously one of the hardest transition years
My first year as an audit manager was awful and I felt the same. Hang in there. You’re doing better than you think and it will get easier!
100%
My first year as manager was my toughest year by far. The transition is difficult!
It took me about 3 years before I felt confident in the role. Even now, 5 years in, I still second guess myself from time to time. I think it's only natural. Don't forget that if you weren't doing a good job, they wouldn't keep you. Clearly you're doing solid work!
Yes
Yep that used to happen to me all the time. I think it was mostly imposter syndrome which I was eventually able to shake.
