Anyone else have/deal with a boss that is so focused on every little detail? He’s very senior and will get involved in every small request of like $5k when normally he doesn’t need to get involved unless it’s like $100k+ request. I know it’s not me, have been promoted here and have really great feedback so it’s not an issue of me not doing my job, but it’s been starting to frustrate me so much bc I have to spend so much time explaining every little detail so he doesn’t freak out. Does anyone have any advice on how to deal with discrimination as an Asian in the workplace? In my company it seems like it’s a white boys club where and they just promote white ppl because they’re white. And then they have a lower bar for promotions for minorities (traditional minorities likes Hispanics and African Americans). Meanwhile they make Asians do all the work. I am not generalizing that this is how it is everywhere but it definitely is that way in my workplace. Any advice?

I've been almost 3 years in my previous company and never have I ever tasted any raise from them. I got transferred to different accounts and LOB it was so exhausting and finally when I decided to leave and send my resignation my Supervisor be like "you know you should be thankful of your job" To be honest the job was very stressful and supervisor at some point is somehow toxic but thankful I get to take my leave.
