Anyone ever get to their dream role and then suddenly just want to focus on your family and don’t care anymore. Starting to feel a little crazy- but I kinda just want to walk away.

The wealthy partner also pays for many vacations including the children of both partners. The wealthy partner also pays for expensive car repairs and college tuition for the children of the less wealthy partner. Then, the couple breaks up. Does the wealthy partner have rights to reimbursement? They never married.

Wife has domestic charges and now wants me to leave the home? Have a new project starting up soon. Wife wants to mediate separation agreement soon until her criminal case is resolved. Advice?

My SO adds very little to our relationship. She has a dead end job. I cook. I work. I oversee finances. I plan trips. She doesn’t have a voice in the relationship. Dads with older children: while raising your children, did your children prefer their moms over you? I know some will prefer dads over moms, but I assume majority of children out there will prefer their moms over dads… I have one child and it kinda hurts to see my child always preferring the mom over me. I know I shouldn’t feel this way, but I just do. How did you cope with such issue raising your children?

How does a person change their mindset to be more positive? I feel like I’m meant for my job, but blame all my life problems on it….having no energy, being single at the age of 30, etc. and it seems like a never ending loop. I look for new jobs, realize I have a good job then am ok for a bit then start it all over again. When I’m off of work I’m fine and realize I have it pretty good. Only real negative is I can’t vacation with my family in March due to my busy time.

I hope he’s in as much pain as I am. The way he ended it was so cold and selfish and unlike how he was any other time with me. It was like a personality switch. I’ve never been so wrong about someone. I’m not sure how to process or recover from that part of it.

How do you turn off perfectionism? I always get stuck at the end of a project because it’s never “perfect.” Getting over that final hump from “must be perfect” to “good enough” for government work is tough. Looking for strategies to help me get things finished and move on.
