Anyone ever interview for VP or SVP tech related roles? Any insights on what to expect?

Quite variable based on the company and specific role. At a bank (with the exception of Capital One), those are likely SC-M level roles. At a non-Big Tech company, those could be anywhere from M-PPMD level roles depending on the firm's particular org structure. At Big Tech, those are very senior roles that are usually very tenured PPMD level.

Sorry. An SVP is typically not a manager level role at any Bank. VPs are dime a dozen however VP by itself is an officer title, the real title that reflects a person's seniority is their functional title.

Should have specified, not a bank!

In non-FI sector, both VP and SVP are likely fairly senior roles. It will, however, depend on the industry and the company's size.

I've been interviewing with some companies, and now I have to decide between JPMorgan Chase and Globant.

Globant is more innovative, and has remote work. I will enter to work with a Sillicon Valley startup based in San Francisco. The tech stack is React, Nextjs, AWS, and a serverless architecture.

JPM is semi remote, and less innovative. The tech stack Java, SpringBoot and AWS. But I'd do more migration tasks, like dockerize projects and pass them to kubernetes. What would you choose?

I’ve applied for receptionist, medical biller/coordinator, and medical clerk. Even with inflation willing to work for minimum wage or less just to gain experience.

I cleared the Level 2 interview as an Appian developer. Could you please let me know what Level 3 interview would be about? Thr HR said it's an interaction session with the panel. But should I be prepared technically?

Hi, I have an interview at EY and I wanted to know what kind of questions can I expect in the 2 rounds following the screening call ? I was told the 2nd round will be with a panel of three people and if I move on to the next round then the 3rd will be a team based interview. I could really use some help.

I have been on a planned personal sabbatical this year pursuing personal interests. Now I’m ready to go back to work. Hi guys,

I switched 20 days back to Optum. I have 7 years of experience working as a full stack Engineer, who is passionate working on both front end and back end on latest technologies. But my project is working only on back end with 10 years old tech stack. There is no front end work at all. What should I do?
I don't like working here at all, but I am not sure whether moving out again in a month will give bad Impression on my resume. Hence please give me advice on this situation

I was approached on LinkedIn for an early career recruiting role in DFW, TX. I don't have direct experience, but I have the university experience/connections from working in career services. This is the first time I've considered work outside of higher education. I said my salary expectations are minimum $90k and that didn't seem to be an issue. Am I asking too little, too much? How can I know I'm getting the best salary and not just settling at the low end of the range?

Luggage delay claim question

I used Chase explorer to buy tickets for my vacation and luggages were delayed for a month. Per chase term I am entitled $100 a day for 3 days. But the claim agency chase used has been asking for airlines response, which has not came (2month+ now). I am concerned insurance will use this as an excuse to never compensate. Is there a good way to handle this situation?
