PwC 🐠, I interviewed with the firm about 6 months ago for a Senior Associate position on the forensics team. I wasn’t extended an offer because the position was given to an internal transfer, at least what I was told. I tried reaching out to the recruiter I worked with last time but the email bounced back and wouldn’t be delivered. I was hoping to see / reapply if the group still was looking for seniors.
In your opinion, would it be best to reapply as a cold application?
Does anyone have experience interviewing with Deloitte Internal Services? I had my final interview a week and a half ago, and received positive feedback throughout. The hiring manager had positive things to say and mentioned they hoped to make a decision by the end of last week. It’s now Friday the week after. The role still shows as “Interviews in Process.” We did discuss potential start dates, but no salary. Any experience with receiving offers for an internal services role? Is this common?
McKinsey & Company Any advice to help prepare for data science analyst role at top consulting firms (McKinsey & Company EY Boston Consulting Group etc)? Any materials, open source platform recommended to take on freelance data science project? When should I start actively looking and applying? This sounds like an incredibly bad idea. Also, if I were the other company and knew that’s where you were doing it from, I would question your judgement
Are you 100% certain nobody is going to come in and interrupt you asking if they can have the room since you're 1 person in it and they need it urgently for a team call with the client, or to say they thought they booked it and create a whole conversation about it? I'd never risk it because of that alone. I'd rather go home and be focused and at peace.

Nope, I’ve done it. Book a room.
So much video conferencing these days. How would they know?
Did it today.
I’ve done it and regretted it. Couldn’t focus for fear of someone popping in. Spoke in an awkward stage whisper. Looked over my shoulder too much.
Find a quiet hotel lobby nearby. Less private, but you’ll be more relaxed
