Not a sales based question but have a second interview for TierPoint Inc. they are an IT company and this is a manager of operations role. Their clients have some big names but I work for a global company that’s massive.

Does anyone know if their companies use them for managed services/cloud etc and is this a well known company that is rated well to use and work with?

I finished a third round interview, and HR contacted me that afternoon saying I had positive feedback across the board and they would contact me the next day regarding next steps. It’s been two days and they finally get back to me saying they haven’t been able to sync with the hiring manager but will keep me posted. Honestly I wish they would talk with the hiring manager and then let me know the decision instead of checking in. It’s messing with my emotions.

The hiring manager was very straight forward with me that I was his top candidate and I was told all other interviews were very positive incl CMO. The recruiter said they'd be making an offer but it's now been three weeks. Anyone else had the process drag on like this? Pivoting away from Sales: I’ve been in sales positions for 15 years, and I’m just exhausted by the role (disputing commissions, arguing about deals, all of it). I have a degree in marketing, but I am having a hard time landing interviews since I’ve never had a strictly marketing only role. Growing up was rough. On my 8th birthday my dad had an accident that led to this death a few days later. He was a good man who took care of us all (I had 3 siblings now 2; lost 1 few years ago).
