Anyone ever required to show proof of insurance to test drive a tesla? I don't currently own a car so don't have any car insurance. Any tips for affordable and reliable options if I'm just driving the car for an hour or so?

So squirrels decided to eat my engine harness (thanks Honda for your eco friendly wiring).
I got it fixed but the acceleration still feels sluggish even when slamming the acceleration on sport mode. It’s a 2017 Honda Civic turbo and used to have a pretty fun acceleration. Any ideas what could be the culprit or where to look? Things like bad ECU/ messed up turbo/ air leak?
