Anyone ever required to show proof of insurance to test drive a tesla? I don't currently own a car so don't have any car insurance. Any tips for affordable and reliable options if I'm just driving the car for an hour or so?

So I'm finally doing it, I'm starting my own firm in the next couple months. Questions about conflicts of interest going forward. If I switch from defence and representing insurance companies, to plaintiff work, do I have a conflict because I previously was doing work for the insurance company? Or is it just those individuals that I've represented? (the ones being sued directly)

Hi All, I joined Deloitte a few months back. I have not been able to adjust to the work culture and stress and pressure of my work. There are literally days when I just feel lost, so much that I have slipped into depression. I don't enjoy my job at all and I'm seriously thinking of quitting without any backup. A 250k condo with 200k loan, ~$200 HOA, ~$400 misc expenses like insurance, vacancy, etc., ~$400 taxes, and 4% mortgage needs around ~2k a month to be reasonably profitable (~$300 a month), not even accounting large unforeseen expenses? Why do people think $100k is a high salary in 2021? Intellectually we understand that inflation continually reduces the purchasing power of each dollar, but emotionally we seem stuck to this specific dollar figure being the line for struggling banking comfortable.

Private school worth it? I think of it as insurance. Less chance your kid is a screw up, sets the baseline of what school he/she gets into higher. makes sure they don’t get lost in the weeds with low student teacher ratio. Agencies are all about women empowerment and innovation until you ask them about women’s health. Minimal pregnancy time, no fertility services, lack of support for women with difficult menstrual cycles. I’ve had to work at times when I’ve felt like I was about to puke. Yeah the first few times they let it slide, but every month and they start to judge. That’s not supporting women. All of the tech companies and even smaller agencies cover freezing your eggs. For me? 40k out of pocket.

If you had a choice, where would you live? UK or US? I’m freaking out. I can’t keep up financially. My student loans are over 1000 a month. My rent is close to 2k in NYC. My low salary has me using my Credit card to eat.
