Should I wear a tie for zoom interviews?

Deloitte 🐠- interviewed Friday (3 interviews all the way up through principal). What’s the timeline on an offer/rejection? Not expecting it today obviously but want to get a sense.

When you are interviewing for other jobs, what do you tell your current employer about your whereabouts? Sick day? Vacation? Interview is 4 hours long, not including travel time. I’ll have to take the whole day off (and it’s a Tuesday).

I am an Automation QA with 4.7 years of experience and having the below offers:
Adidas - 17.5 LPA fixed + 2.5LPA variable
Paytm Payments Bank - 20 LPA fixed + 1LPA JB

I want to join Adidas though it's package is bit lesser than Paytm. Paytm is not known for WLB. Question is small companies are ready to offer 22+ LPA packages. But I know I won't join them so why should I waste my time and their time as well.

Am I doing the right thing? By not giving their interviews. Very confused

Is it worth applying in R3 to stern?

Denied from Darden R1. Waitlisted at a T15 and accepted at a T15 (lower ranking than waitlisted school). My gut says it’s not worth it since stern is technically a higher ranking than all I’ve applied to and R3 is going to be even more difficult to differentiate myself, but then again it seems Deloitte has a high admissions rate.

Thoughts? Deadline is 1/15 so I’d have to scramble everything together this week, which may be a challenge amongst year end prep

Is a cover letter an expectation when applying for a job?

Recruiters are the worst. Detroit Metro has the worst recruiters from ad agencies to recruiting firms like VitaminC and Creative Circle. No follow up after any interviews unless you get hired. Ugh

Hi guys. I'm interviewing for WSE (Web Solutions Engineer) and I have heard many things about the role but I'd like to know some opinions.
I'm currently a software engineer but I have been told that the WSE is not as technically challenging as SWE or other types of roles.
I am also a little afraid of the "consulting" part of the role since I don't have a lot of background facing clients. Will that be a deal breaker in the process?
Also, how much of full stack does this role has?
