Anyone have any personal insight to EYs global compliance and reporting in Chicago is like (actually day to day, group, pay, etc)? Says the role involves “global tax project management” I’ll do a pre interview to figure out exactly what it entails but was hoping for some personal insight beforehand. I’m a senior (w/JD not sure it matters) in big4 SALT group and the idea of never having to do compliance was a huge draw but I do enjoy SALT consulting.

Some recruiter in Accenture lined me up for an interview for a role which was not in my skillset ( by saying that this is just an evaluation exercise and they will map me to the right role) and obviously I got rejected. Now I see that I am not eligible to apply the role which I was targeting for the next 6 months. Any idea how can I get this escalated so that the recruiter ( Accenture employee) should at least be careful in future before fooling a noob like me?

On my CV I have a section listed as “Education” and under it I have “Business Studies” with the university name and the 3 years that I attended the course (2.5 to be exact).
