I’m 25 and do not know a ton about personal finance. Are there class or resources you would recommend to educate myself? I do invest in my $401k and have a rainy day savings account I contribute to, but that’s about it.
Thoughts on GE Healthcare? GE Healthcare appears to be expanding rapidly and recruiting aggressively. Their impending IPO looks to paint a promising future.

Can purchase voluntary AD&D up to $500,000 for $3.50/pp. 2) Group LTD 60% replacement of first $150,000 of earnings for $4.57/pp. Inexpensive I know, but is this worth it for me? Or are these future considerations?
PwC Partners.....can you explain the big operating model change that was announced that had no bearing on staff. Why announce it then? What benefits can we expect?
Moms specifically at Deloitte, I am 8 weeks pregnant and planning to tell the team right after July 4th weekend. I had a question on the administrative/procedural stuff - do I have to let anyone else outside or project team know? When do I have to start thinking about paper work? Who should I let know about the maternity leave?
Can someone post the eligibility requirements for ACN's (Advanced Degree Former Intern) Tuition Reimbursement Program? I received an offer that I may be eligible to participate, but not sure what would disqualify me. Thanks in advance! :)
Is there a timeframe on when I need to update my HSA? I left my old company 2 months ago but haven’t found the time to update my old HSA. I rolled over my 401k
Does anyone have any info about the program for very long-tenured IFS staff, where the firm will pay for your health insurance after you retire if you meet certain tenure requirements? Something like, if you’ve been with the firm for over 30 years by the time you retire. The firm may have discontinued this but some people are grandfathered in. Anyone have details?
What percentage of your salary do you/ should you invest in 401k? And how did that change with age and experience?

Do you stay at a good firm with a good reputation where you are siloed in a back office role with no growth or go to a lesser known firm with less track record and opportunity to learn and grow? I’m in an extremely operational role and want to leave but the benefits down the line could be grand. How do you evaluate a decision like this?
Trying to get smart on saving/investing. I have a 401K, but what else should I be considering? Any tips or ideas you can share?

I’m being promoted to Manager this November but recent got offer from a fintech. In money term the manager base pay is 5k greater than the new role but i’m negotiating to match the offer with my Manager salary. Should I wait until promoted or move asap? I dont want to continue working in external audit so trying to pivot to data analyst role/IA in the fintech before moving to full DA/DS position… but thinking the Manager promotion would help negotiate salary in the future.
What is the KPMG US policy on WFH / remote work?
For people who live alone, how are you staying motivated? I’ve been feeling more depressed lately and really need some advice to get through this whole wfh thing
Wokewashing fading out? I work for a Publicis Groupe agency that went hard to promote DE&I and pushing diversity hiring goals last year. I was optimistic but all the big talk has subsided significantly since the summer. Anyone else feelings or seeing this at your agency?
In a world of remote consulting work…. How long can the US maintain its high premium over European and, esp. developing market consulting? Both price tag to clients and significantly higher salaries for the people. I imagine may move faster at Big 4, etc. than MBB, but within MBB the huge cost and salary differentials feel… increasingly hard to maintain (even though I think the differential has actually gotten bigger, not smaller in the last two years). Thoughts?
How did you decide which industry exit opps to look for? I see a lot of different types of exits but I’m not sure which one is for me.
Most embarrassing WFH moment?
12 weeks pregnant - first baby. Got an amazing job offer to start in January. Gave my verbal yes, but upon receiving the written offer, learned travel expectation (post-COVID) was 50% not 25%. (cont)
Guidehouse folks! What perks do you have, i.e. coffee and meals expensed, Uber/Lyfts expensed, flexible/remote work?
I’m an immigrant with H1B. Been wanting to get out of my firm so badly but every time I apply outside, I start getting dragged into work at my current firm.I was going through some pretty rigorous interviews (I failed them) and have been in a slump since. Meanwhile my current firm keeps dumping work on me and I can’t find the time to apply outside. Anyone been through something similar? I’m losing hope. The politics is also so toxic, they started screwing me over since my last performance review.
I am almost 2 years into my H1B. They haven’t started my I140 but when I joined told me that I would be eligible in a year of which I am coming up on in this Oct. I got a new offer today but they told me that they would apply I140 after a year from when I join. The pros of the new one is TC more than 18k with sign-on of 15k (not sure clauses for this) and better wrk-life bal). My question is, how long into H1B is it advisable to have an I140 applied for. Would 3-4 years into my H1B be too late?
Does anyone know of any agencies that have a decent amount of remote staff? I'd love to work for a cool shop (and am willing to travel a ton) but don't want to uproot completely.
