What tactics have you or peers used to find interesting exit ops at manager level or above?

I’ve worked mostly for financial services clients (banks, insurers, payments, etc.) but the exit ops I’ve come across seem a little underwhelming (mainly corp strat roles). Trying to get a better sense of what’s out there as someone who doesn’t have a specific content niche.

I work on a consulting team at a large software company. I’m a job hopper, around 2 years each at my first and second jobs and a little over a year at this job. I recently found out they’re shutting my team down. We’re not fired, but they’re transferring us to the core implementation team, which has a horrible reputation for malignancy, overworking, and isn’t at all what I was hired to do. How hard is it going to be to for me to find a new job? Should I just stay and try things out? What next?

Went into an industry PMO role after consulting and literally hating every second of it after a year. What to get back to more S&O / BizOps focused roles. Any advice from others that made the transition?

Been on the job hunt for the past 3 months. Applied to 200+. Interviewed with 15 companies (big tech + mid sized) but failing at either hiring manager round or ghosted after onsite. I’ve spent hours everyday applying, researching companies and prepping for interviews, watching videos, reading books, but just can’t seem to close the deal. However, the head of the dept wants to pitch me for another role that he thinks I’m a better fit for although for the previous role interview, it’s positive outcome too. I’m more interested in the prior role. How do I go about expressing that?
