Had an interview for an associate position at Citi. Interviewee was based in London and I’m in NYC. The only interview time that worked was 6am. I was barely functioning and feel like I truly messed up in my answers because I couldn’t not think clearly. I have another with the head of the division next week again at 6am (pre determined before this interview). It was also hard because the division’s core work is private enough that there was not much prep I could do beforehand. Tips?

My first switch took me to 9LPA from 6LPA and now the second switch is being offered for 11.5LPA where I can see my fellow friends in SAP having more than 15LPA at the same experience on their second switch itself. Hello all, I'm a very green attorney, never tried a single case or even was second or third chair, but managed to land a litigation associate position at a Plaintiff's firm. Does anyone remember their first trial? How did you feel and how did it turn out by comparison? Anything you wish you did differently?

Do you consider it ethical that his career counselor is intentially spreading the information to his colleagues and to other consultants from other companies in the project? What can he do about it? Specially that he considers the potential layoff is purely based on the current situation (chargeability was low) and not on his performance (they said that his contribution to BD during his bench time was low)?

Currently at Big 4. Have offers for a PL/Principal at MBB and for a VP role at a Fortune 20 company. The VP role is more interesting and comp a bit better but I’m told would accelerate faster at MBB. The initial plan was to end up at MBB. What’s the best for future flexibility?
