Anyone here who has worked as an Air Force flight attendant? Aside from the military training, how different is the experience from its civilian counterpart?

I've worked as an Air Force flight attendant for two years. The military training was definitely intense and different from the civilian training, but the experience was very similar to being a civilian flight attendant. The biggest difference was the camaraderie of being part of the military and working with our fellow airmen. The sense of pride in serving our country was an amazing experience that I will never forget.

There are no flight attendants in the Air Force. That is apart of the 2T2 career field. You put the passengers on the plane and the loadmasters will brief the passengers about safety

What do you mean there are no flight attendants? I can find multiple job listings for air force flight attendants that are open right now....

Trying to set family expectations and would love thoughts on 2 things. 1. How long after baby will I be ready for visitors beyond our parents? I’m thinking a few weeks. 2. Our 3 grandmothers are 1-3 hour flights away (3 diff places) and cannot travel. When will we be ready to take baby to see them? I’m thinking 4-6 months but that would also be flu/RSV season. Can’t predict the future but family is already talking about trips and I want to set expectations and do what is best for baby. TIA!!

On the topic of intimacy with partners… I’ve been with my boyfriend for 2 years and the past year his libido has dropped to zero. Mostly due to work stress (he says). Whenever I try to initiate, he always shuts me down and says he’s not in the mood. I even touch him and he gets hard but stops me as soon as I try to unzip him. We went from once a week to maybe once a quarter.

I’ve talked to him about it and he says I should take care of myself. So frustrated. 😭😭

Single black female. Late 30s, no kids. Is it better to practice in a smaller market that’s close to major cities, lots of professional opportunities, but no real single professional scene?
