I interviewed for Data Analyst role at EY, it went well and the job sounds great, but I'm a bit hesitant to leave PwC because I really like the firm and I'm just 8 months in my job as an associate at a subgroup of ITS that has some focus on technology and analytics but it's mostly tax compliance.
I do want to transition to data analytics but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to go to another big 4, or maybe just look for a position in industry.
Any advice or similar experience?

You’ll get better answers on Blind I think
Once you pass the HR screen, they will actually provide the reading materials, sample questions, as well as the names of the interviewers for you to stalk in advance to prepare for the interview. A majority of the interviewers will be from your immediate and greater team. They also mix in one random, non technical person. The questions are generally hypotheticals (situational, behavioral), meant to see how you think on your feet. No trick questions and no technical questions. There was an opportunity to ask a few questions at the end. Every one will be taking extensive notes on their laptop which can distracting. Ultimately you need to impress the hiring manager because even if 4 of the 5 give you high marks and the hiring manager doesn’t think it’s a good fit, you will not get the role. I did not get the first role I applied for, but displayed “Googliness” after the first round and was put on top of the candidate pool for the next open role. HR kept me posted every week and when a spot opened up, I interviewed with another 5 people and got the job. At the end of process, there’s a blind hiring committee who makes the final say. From what I understand, it was put in place to make sure there are no false positives hired. People say you’re lucky if you can get placed in 6 months, so I feel extremely fortunate I was able to get something in 2-3 months. Good luck!
The above post from ASD1 is very accurate. Expect a peer or team interview to focus on role related stuff (do you have the skills for the specific job), someone to focus on Leadership and thought process (usually hiring manager or the more senior of the interviewers), and a non team interviewer who is often there for googleyness and outside team perspective. Questions will be behavioral and or hypothetical. Trying to get sense of how you approach problems. Being right is less interesting than being able to demonstrate how you problem solve, what data you draw on, etc. asking clarifying questions about the questions is good. Take the time they offer you to think before answering! Structure your answers!!! They will all be on laptops as the feedback requirements are heavy, it’s weird but don’t let it distract you.
Thanks everyone!
Good luck OP!!!
What division?
You go through a minimum of at least 4-5 rounds for even just a freelance or contract position. For any FT role it’s even more exhaustive.
