take job with long commute or stay at b4?
Hi guys :) Glad to join fishbowl and this community. Guys I have an offer of 14.41 ctc from a big 4 (11 is fixed).
Technology-Microsoft Dynamics 365(I am a functional consultant in SCM and HR; Relevant exp: 3 yrs & Total exp: 4 yrs).
My interviews in IBM are done and I am waiting for the salary discussion with HR.
What is the likely offer that I am going to get? Any idea? (My expectation is 16.5 lpa ctc). I will adjust my expectations as per replies here.
Any response is highly appreciated :)

The new company I’m at now sent me an email from an email address that was HR@companyName.careers saying I was accepted for the position. They gave me paperwork to fill out and sign to accept the position
I fill out the paperwork and send it back to them and it goes through… then a few days later I go back to the email to say something else and I get this…?
Then today I got a check from the company In the mail to setup my home office, and it’s signed by someone I’ve never met before or heard of…?
What…..

I work in Sacramento. Sacramento is a great middle market place to work for PA. Here's the biggest offices by total professional staff:
- KPMG
- Clifton Larson Allen
- Crowe Horwath (the best)
- EY
- Moss Adams
- PwC
- BFBA
- Gilbert Associates
- Cohn Reznick
- Deloitte
I’m happy at Moss Adams. I find the culture to be friendly and there are several industry groups to choose from as you move up. Sac office just got upgraded. What are you interested in working on? That may help you find the right fit
I work a lot with EY Sacramento. The tax team is solid and very friendly. The audit people generally travel more than average as they get farmed out to other offices a lot.
Speaking for the audit side in the Sac Moss Adams office, I think we have an awesome work environment. We have a diversity of industry groups and many opportunities to narrow my focus on an industry of choice as my career has progressed. Our people are great and I truly enjoy the teams I work with. I interviewed with every major firm in the area and Moss was an easy choice for me
I think that the best thing you can do is interview with as many places as possible and then make your choice. Each firm will be different and each office will be different too. It sounds like you know that. I'll create a burner email and you can send me your resume and I'll send it to my Sacramento friends. The office is in roseville.
Moss Adams 1: I was looking at mostly audit or advisory/consulting type roles. I'm open to explore any industry. Based on my research it looks like Moss Adams has a stronghold in Ag and EY mostly focused on Healthcare. Wasn't sure about the others. Also wasn't sure about the culture at each office. Basing on the responses from here it seems like Moss Adams has a good vibe going on.
Audit in Sac has these larger groups: Food/Ag, M&D, Healthcare and Financial Institutions. There are some other types of clients too (tech, benefit plans, construction). The Sac office is probably ~100 people and Stockton office has ~50. There aren’t a lot of public companies in Sac in general, which is probably why the Big 4 end up being heavier travel. At MA you will travel too, but it’s less based on what I’ve heard from people who moved from Big 4 to MA
