I haven't had anything like that on my radar before your post, but now that you mention it, it is a core element of our work. I think we could circle back and hash this out offline so we can have our ducks in a row before we follow-up with any clients. Do you have the bandwidth to do a deep dive into the literature data? I don't think we need to boil the ocean, but I don't want to get caught with our pants down later. After all, we're just trying to move the needle, so let's take a step back since our North Star hasn't changed.

Ping me when you're available to touch base about this.

ZSA1 - from this 50,000 foot view, you are the SME of what it takes to be a rockstar. Great strawman summary - wordsmith it a little bit more and you’ll never be on the bench again. Once you tighten it up, send it to me and before EOD tomorrow and I’ll get group buy-in from the key stakeholders. I normally have a hard stop at noon - but send before 6pm and I can leverage it to create a truly transformative deliverable. Cheers!

Why has real estate remained lucrative?
Mainly agents but also developers.

The barrier to entry is low, not even sure if graduating high school is needed. My old agent even said she did it bc she can make a lot money and not work that much. She drove a new Mercedes and sent her kids to private school, husband was also an agent.

So I’m curious why it didn’t get flooded and the profit margin dampened to a $/hr closer to other jobs with similarly easy entry?

Started new job at a non-F500 (CorpDev) this week (got offered +45% over my previous base).

Received an offer today from EY, which is +35% over my current base.

I kinda like the CorpDev gig more and have very little motivation to join EY (that particular team). Can I still use their offer to pump up my current base here at the non-F500?

How can I ask for a raise and not set wrong impression so early on?

Am I being paranoid? Is this common?
