I knew I was very early in the process since the job had only been posted for a few days. It's been 3 weeks and I haven't heard back, even after reaching out to the recruiter. A recruiter at another B4 gave me a number much lower than what I’m currently making. Should I tell them how much im making now, which is admittantly at the very top of the SC band, or counter with a range that’s more than I’m making? I filed my tax with TurboTax. It said my estimated refund is $700. I got a letter from IRS saying I actually owe $400. When I looked into it I realized they didn’t account for my 2021 quarterly estimates that I paid with my ex-wife last year. In our divorce decree we agreed to claim half of the credits each. But I guess for their record it’s all under her name. It’s impossible to reach IRS and also I really want to avoid contacting my ex. What would be the best approach for this?
