Should it be 601 or 602 as per my experience ? During the HR discussion I mentioned my relevant experience as 5.5 years . JPMorgan Chase

100% accuracy against what?
Few models demand 100% accuracy - but calculating paychecks is one of them
Despite the frequency of change, this handleable with a well-structured model. Obviously no idea what you're facing but will take a guess at some structural points
- Have separate input tabs for each pay contribution (e.g. one for base, one for commission structure 1, comm structure 2, etc)
- If those structures vary inputs (e.g. % of sales goes from 15% to 10%), on those tabs, used named ranges to define the date e.g. "pcsales202409"
On your calcs tab have columns that define which part of the model apply to that person. Use INDIRECT to pull what you need.
Can then easily reassign someone to a new structure, and change the level/model of that structure seamlessly
Not referring to commission schedules, that would be easy to deal with.
