Maybe apply for general ledger accountant first and jump to FP&A?
Depends on your YOE and interviewing skills. I had 2 senior FP&A offers before ultimately deciding to go into deals. I left after my first busy season as a senior in audit, so around 2.5 YOE
Did you have forecast/modelling experience when you applied?
Job market for finance/accounting is terrible right now. I’ve had friends looking for months and barely getting a sniff
Wow, was telling myself it’s because of not having my cpa. Didn’t realize it’s hard for everyone 😔
Still realistic. Will be easier if you have FDD experience first or if you go in as an accountant and transfer internally. I'd still apply though.
Is there an efa equivalent role at PWC? That’s what I did at Deloitte and got a company to be impressed with the Deloitte name and got a sfa role there
100+ applications? No way. Are you not getting interviews?
Nope they’re all asking for 2-3 years of FP&A experience 🙄
