Hello All,
I have recently joined FIS Global around end of April. My mother recently met with an accident and she needs to be operated.
I haven't been able to update the anything regarding the insurance part yet on FIS portal.
Will my mother's treatment be covered under the insurance? If yes, what's the procedure for the same? What are the documents that I need to submit in order to claim the amount?
Can anyone please guide?

I thought about. In my case, I realized work caused mental health challenges, but it also gave me a much needed area of life to succeed in. So, make sure you have something meaningful to invest into. It could even be a little volunteering. A year is a long time. :)
If you can do it DO IT! Live your best life!
Do it.
I took three months of short term disability. Insurance was a pain in the ass about it, but once my doctors signed off they had to approve it. I kept my full salary and benefits and nobody asked any questions. Sometimes I really hate my company but I am very thankful that I had that option. If you’ve been FT for over a year somewhere (in the US) you likely have this option. I highly, HIGHLY recommend looking into it. Worst case scenario you decide after three months you need more time and quit. I hope you feel better.
Do it. Better on your own too than something like a leave which usually requires a doctor’s note. Take it off!
Recommend you get some support too. Deal with the effects of the stress and give you tools to help you make sure it doesn’t happen again.
