Limited value add
I knew a guy who did it and was able to pretend he had a Harvard degree and got tremendous value out of it - he was a sociopath and I couldn’t do that myself but all in how you package it
G1 I have to know who you’re talking about, haha
They got ms management too, I wonder how others perceive it
Waste of money
It’s not about prestige for me, two things I’m looking for are (1) learning the subject matter and (2) networking for future business partners. I’d like to leave consulting one day and start a business. Was curious if any who went there found it possible to network.
I could also consider an EMBA at Wharton (I have enough experience and it’s close to home). I wouldn’t consider a lesser ranked program if I was spending that much for an MBA.
the second you run into someone who actually went to Harvard they will think less of you for it. It was a frequent topic of discussion among my class. It just shows you wasted money on something that’s neither useful nor valuable
No, I work for Deloitte
It's misleading when they put it on Linkedin and the short description says Harvard, then you look into the profile and it's Harvard extension instead
^ and it’s some 6 week extension program
Since you mentioned emba from Wharton, I just graduated from it and we have a few ACN folks. It’s a very good program and you do earn actual MBA degree, not watered down like most others
