Update: I passed!!!!
Thank you!!
Taken, and passed. Lens focused as a manager. Don’t think technical. For example, you’ve been attacked and every second counts… what do you do?
Hint, don’t fix the issue, call you boss and his boss before you give any guidance.
Sounds like the same advice I got for the CISSP exam. That advice is what helped me pass first try.
Get the question database, take practice exam, work on the modules with the lowest scores first, as you get closer to your exam date, practice all the questions. Don’t start the next module until you get a 85 on the current module for a week.
I did this for 3 months passed on the first try with a pretty high score
Good luck is not needed because you will pass
Very true, took both though will say, the CISSP is extremely technical, while CISM you won’t see anything OSI, TCP, or Cyprography.
Took it a few years ago, but the other thing is that they will give you questions with two or three answers that are correct, but only one that answers "What does ISACA say I should do?".
I read the book cover to cover quickly for that and passed easily on the first attempt.
Yup! Took it this AM - I feel like I had 3 correct answers sometimes! Really threw me for a loop, stepped out took a breather and rereviewed. Ended up passing :) very glad that’s over with lol
Following this post. I have a bootcamp coming up.
