Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

I just refi’d but did not use Navy Fed. Most lenders are having issues due to volume. Additionally, they anticipate delays with title work since some states are not fully open/available. 45-60 days sounds normal to me.
My sister used NFCU for hers in MD in 2016. They took forever and she almost lost the house not once, but twice during the closing process because of how slow they were. From other folks I know who've used NFCU, that's the norm.
I don’t think that’s way out of line time wise. We had a good mortgage broker who pushed hard.
My understanding is 45-60 days is pretty normal. But not sure if there are others that close faster
If everything is perfect and the stars align, they can get you approved and closed in 14-21 days. However, add in a pandemic, a lot more applications, delays on the state and closing side - it’s not unusual. That’s why most people write 6-8 weeks down for settlement.
They were great with me in 2015. They pushed the builder hard to align with their timeline.
