Bain & Company Hi everyone,
I am currently working as a Software Engineer in Persistent Systems.
I have total exp of 8 months and serving notice period. I have offers from Mckinsey and BCG for their tech roles, but I wish to switch to consulting.
Could anyone please refer me or if you know someone who could refer me at Bain & Company for the Associate Consultant position?
Thank you in advance.

I work in technical accounting at a public company at manager level. I get paid about 20% more than other accounting managers here, I have no month-end responsibilities but I do have involvement in SEC reporting which keeps me busy on a quarterly basis.
On average I probably work about the same as others but our busy times are different. I feel like mine aren’t as bad though but last longer.
What I like is that I get to think hard about things, come up with unique solutions/conclusions, there is less recurring things to do like a robot and more reading/understanding and applying guidance.
Being prepared to speak to how we approached our audit of unique transactions. Essentially just demonstrating that I had the ability to look an a non-recurring transaction and interpret guidance to correctly apply GAAP and document the thought process.
Most of my experience was in equity, financing, business combinations, revenue, and leases.
