If you took another offer and resigned but then got an interview for a dream job, do you disclose in the interview that you’re no longer employed at your current firm?

Didn’t successfully move on in a S&O mgr role. Thought overall the interview went well. What are the best tips for prepping and landing that type of role?
Do agencies actively keep “files” on former employees? Ive been interviewed by a place I was at 3 yrs ago by their recruiters 4 different times. Never got an offer. Blacklisted there?
I don’t think i’m ever gonna get a internal transfer in to another service line. Would cold applying to one of the other big fours work? Don’t really no one else in there.
Is it a red flag if someone took 8 years to finish PhD without publication? (Applying for biotech/pharma research position)
Here for my check-up. One specific question- do I need a case-study for the first piece? Thank you ♥️ www.shevekanandan.com
I'm IT eng. dropout that finished Finance BA instead, 9m experience as audit intern @ BIG4, currently junior data analyst working with market data for 6m (from field experience). Based on my current understanding of the position, I'd like to ultimately end up as data scientist. What does it take? What's your career path that led You there, and how long does in took you? What are the milestones? What are essential skills, and at what point of carrier I should be focusing at learning them?
MIT Sloan admits this year want to share their apps? I am thinking of applying 2nd round 760 GMAT, 3.4 GPA, 7+ years experience, URM woman.
Any partner working in Frankfurt, Germany interested in hiring non German speaking entry level consultants ?
Just got another rejection... Is exiting to FAANG or MB really this hard? Trying to go tech.. or mbb, but not getting anywhere. I have 2 masters (mba, ms) from top schools, been in consulting for over 10 years, I am confident that I know my stuff well..but still I keep getting rejected. Interviewed with Google, Amazon, Cisco, McKinsey, and a few others and every-time there is something that is not a match... are the hiring managers looking for like 100% match? That will never happen!!!
EY 🐠: Base comp range for M2 or M3 in EY SAP practice (Houston office). Have an interview coming up next week and rather not waste anyone’s time if EY base comp is lower than Accenture.
I am currently working at a big 4 in Strategy and Business Transformation practice. I recently came across the job of a S&O Manager role at Global Business Strategy. TBC
I applied to Apple 6 weeks ago and haven’t heard back but just got a “rate your experience applying” auto-generated email. Safe to assume it’s a no? 🤷🏼♀️
Petty reasons you won’t work for a certain firm? Looking for a new position, and won’t even consider Grant Thornton because of their vacation policy.
Final round of interviews with Facebook in a few days (marketing role). Any of you with interview experience with them? Any advice?
Can someone share responsibilities and day to day activities of Associate Principal (Project management) / project CEO?
I’m all about that work from home life. However it is insulting and unprofessional when a colleague who is in the office blows off a scheduled meeting with you when you are virtual as they bumped into another colleague in the office. Anyone else noticing issues like this now that we are in this hybrid mode. How do you address it?
Can we all admit now that covid is NOTHING like the flu? Like its July, why is this thing still going? And how are we recording 60k cases a day? At that rate the whole country will have caught it by years end. The flu goes away --- this stuff hasn't lost a step

Hi fishes! Need help deciding career path. Currently have bachelors and work in business consulting. Thinking about getting in to cloud space by getting numerous cloud certifications OR shoot for an MBA from M7. What would you do for a sustainable career? Thank for the input!
Has anyone done remote year or know if KPMG approves of it? I barely travel to client sites and can work from home if needed.
Where are folks mostly exiting to? I was hired as an experienced manager and I have been thinking about moving back to the industry. It’s been really hard adjusting to the Covid schedule with family and kids. I am looking for a change but also scared to start the process of looking and interviewing. Just venting folks! 😔
This is for my real estate agents. I’m brand new into the business and I adore the work. What tips or pointers can you give to a new agent- I’m in Las Vegas if it helps to be specific. If anyone has any book recommendations that’d be awesome as well. I’m looking to learn anything and everything. For example, learning what I can and can’t do to make a deal close
Interned at PwC this summer (going to be junior this fall), got a return offer for next summer that expires Sep 1st, got an interview with McKinsey approximately mid September and they said that I could expedite if I have competing offers. Does it help or hurt my chances of getting the Mck internship if I expedite and do it ASAP or will there not be enough turn around time in general to get an answer?
Interviewing with a small/mid-sized company that reached out through a recruiter. Not sure I’m ready to jump as only 1 YOE and have brought that up in both interviews. Want to keep the relationships with interviewers for future roles, is it better to excuse myself from the process or go to the end and decline politely?
Waited two months to hear back from EY for a role that said online and from the recruiter they wanted to progress me to the next steps in the hiring process. Even did the hire Vue video and phone screen. Woke up today to find out they are going a different direction. Thanks for dragging me on. That’s cold
Not work related but idk where to ask this. We’ve been invited to our first post Covid cookout. It’s at my husband’s former colleagues place so we don’t the hosts too well but we know there are not going to be any kids so mostly a grown up football party. What would bring to it? Because of the current scenario I’m skeptical of bringing my home cooked dip.
