Anyone working in home visits on a production based scale able to share what company collects per visit or procedure? ie company collects x amt for a level 4 home visit. Is it different for Medicare alone vs Medicare + supplemental?
Thanks in advance.

You will need to know what code they are using for the visits but then you can look at Medicare reimbursement charts for the amount the company gets paid per visit. The amount reimbursed for the visit is the same whether they have a secondary or not as the secondary picks up deductible or patient responsibility.

Hello all,

I'm a PA in the PNW working for a private group staffing ED's in several hospitals. Recently the group has asked the PA's to take on a couple new roles (triaging and rapid track from triage i.e. straightforward ESI 4, 5). With these changes the PA's are considering asking for increased pay in the form of an addition of a COLA (cost of living adjustment) to our normal salary. Was wondering if any other PA's in the ED have these in their contracts and at what rate.

-Thanks
