XPost: Major burnout. I don’t want to do tax anymore or PA. I’ve been working nonstop only break I had was when I was down with Covid twice. I dread waking up in the mornings for work. I have 120 tax returns to prep before 10/15. And there is more to this list because they keep retaining new clients. This is my 6th busy season. I feel so empty and depressed. Unfulfilled like I’m wasting my life and career. To think I’m going to work in tax for the rest of my life makes me feel hopeless.
