Nope, and because my pro-rated hours were above target I actually got an above-market bonus. We’ve had, like, a lot of people quit though so I think it was more a retention bonus than anything…
Yes MoFo does this.
Yes, bonus was pro-rated for parental leave. Salary was not.
But the real work to make hours comes after the kid is born IMO.

My firm offered to “extend” your mat leave with vacation days and then didn’t include that extension when prorating so a bunch of associates completely lost their bonus. None of this was disclosed in advance. So prorated bonus sounds dreamy.
