With everything becoming cashless, fewer chances of beards getting caught in the cash sorting machines.

So I say go for it

Analyst here with a beard. Shaved once and my manager actually told me to never do that again

Yes, 2/3 of the guys on my team have facial hair. When I started in 2009 zero people did.

If it’s a real beard and maintained you are totally fine. If it’s not a maintained regularly and looks messy I would shave or clean it up.

like

It’s a real beard, those are fine. I’d just trim it and make it look kempt

Beards are so 2021.

I got a beard so I guess so

I have a beard, people seem to like it

I get your point, but I think it could only hurt you. Try growing it out once you start?

I grew a beard during covid and no one has said anything, still got promoted

In 2009 when I started no one had beards but they are fine now. I’ve started wearing jeans too.

When I was a device driver developer with 2 years relevant experience I had got calls from Nvidia and Qualcomm. Unfortunately I wasn't able to crack the interviews back then.

For next 5 years I worked mostly on application development and broadening my exposure. I am not getting even a single call from such companies now.

Is it a good idea to rebrand myself as a device driver developer so that I can get calls again?

Hi All,
I am feeling lost in job. So I’ve applied for Accounts payable they offered 40k. I said why not to gain some experience. I didn’t even bother negotiating which I regret.
Fast forward I noticed that I was eventually handed everyone’s workload (AR & imports & duty and check coworker work + AP) Spoke to them about pay increase based on workload. So they raised it to 55k.. but I still feel underpaid based on the amt of work I do. I don’t know what my title or what to put on resume..
